A32

Glass walls ideal for shopping areas.

The A32 series is a stackable glass wall without a bottom guide. Composed of individual glass panels that slide towards the storage area and stack together for full opening, completely freeing up the space.

The option without bottom guide is especially suitable for shopping and business areas, as it removes obstacles limiting or preventing access to the room.

Features of the A32 glass wall.

The main feature of this series is its special storage area, which consists of an aluminium box at the end of the guide where the panels stack. Therefore, once the system is opened, the panels all hang from above in this area, making it possible to install the system without the need for a bottom guide.

Tempered glass panels without vertical profiles, with transparent airtight gaskets between panels; available in 10 mm thick tempered glass with rounded edges for easy and safe use. Panels can be opened inwards or outwards, and can be installed with a built-in or overlapping bottom guide.

Fittings and accessories.

It comprises a knob and latch to ensure proper opening and closing. Locks can also be installed. See available fittings and accessories.

Glasses and finishes.

The glass used for the panels is tempered, and can be neutral or have solar control, with the latter achieving improved thermal insulation.

The A32 glass wall profiles can be lacquered in the RAL Classic colour range. Choose the finish for your glass walls.

Tempered glass

Tempered glass

Tempered glass is a type of safety glass, processed by thermal or chemical treatments, to increase its thermal resistance compared to regular glass. This is achieved by compressing the exterior surfaces and tensioning the interior surfaces.

To do this, the glass is subjected to a thermal process of 650ºC, before receiving a sharp cooling of air, resulting in a glass with excellent shock resistance and tolerance.

Tempered glass properties.

Thanks to its special composition, when a tempered sheet of glass is broken by accident, it crumbles into small granular pieces instead of splintering into large jagged fragments. Granular pieces are less likely to cause injury.

In addition, with this type of glass the chances of breakage due to thermal shock are reduced thanks to its high absorption of solar energy. Energy absorption is the percentage of solar energy absorbed by the glass that generates an increase in temperature. This value is indicative of the risk of breakage due to thermal shock. If it is very high, the glass should be tempered.

It is advisable to use tempered glass in the vast majority of glazing requirements, especially in those occupying a large surface area, and in all locations that are exposed to circulation of people or that present a risk of breakage or impact, as well as to different temperatures.
